To launch Samsung’s new Galaxy Note 2 and Galaxy Gear smart watch, my team and I tapped 13 of the world’s most popular soccer players to create a digital experience of unparalleled size and scope. Millions of fans from 250 countries spent nearly 100,000 hours on this site. A third of those visits were from mobile devices, and two-thirds were referred from social media. 5.7MM visits & 20MM page views contributed to a 68% site-wide engagement rate. On average, visitors viewed at least 3 pages before leaving, which resulted in a low bounce rate of 32%. The analytics were amazing and our planet survived. Galaxy 11 won in 2 categories at the CLIO Sports Awards shows.
